We, therefore, calculate an average of one generally very positive message every two weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Targeted smear campaign since July 14, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The management of <em>Meteor Towing Service <\/em> therefore remains very surprised that between July 14 and 17, 2017, that is to say in 72 hours, a total of 21 negative and sometimes vulgar messages, appeared on the company&#8217;s Facebook page. In this short period of time, 21 1\/5 ratings were recorded by 21 different people, the vast majority of which (20 out of 21) were filed by individuals who had never done business with <em>Meteor Towing Service.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>We think we know the source of this wave of negativity towards us<\/em>, says company president Serge Landry.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>By noting the extent of this campaign, which is similar to a relentless and organized denigration<\/em>, continues Serge Landry, <em>we have mandated our legal department to verify the source and identity of these 21 persons\/corporations\/companies.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>So it was through our lawyers and IT specialists that we found that 20 out of 21 people who gave a negative opinion between July 14 and 17, 2017 are not familiar with our services, for never having used them. Moreover, we now know that several of them have a common link, namely an Import\/Export company based in Montreal with which we have never had a business relationship, <\/em> continues Serge Landry.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>It is in this precise legal context that we are studying the possibility, with our legal department, of opening legal proceedings for defamation against people who have expressed a negative opinion about us when they can in no way judge our service<\/em>.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Full service towing, transportation, storage and professional training throughout North America<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <em> Meteor Towing Service<\/em> is a towing and recovery specialist in Montreal, Quebec and elsewhere in Canada.
